Old School
Before the modern day pull tab, there existed...the pop-top. For those of us old enough to remember, the old pop-tops were pulled completely off of the top of the can. This design was finally abandoned because the discarded pop-tops littered streets and beaches all over the world.

But for those who remember, the old pop tops were good for making some very groovy stuff: hats, dresses, even dog vests.

This photo retrospective is an homage to our funky forefathers and mothers.

Fun fact: The pop-top and the pull-tab were invented by...the same man! To learn more about this genius, Ermal Frase, click here ».
