The sides of the bag are made from the bottoms of recycled aluminum cans.
The unusual 'chainmail fabric' is achieved through hand crochet and up-cycled aluminum soda can tabs.
Lined silver fabric interior + one inside zipped pocket. Comes finished with a zipper top closure.
Handcrafted in Brazil by talented artisans that combine traditional needlework with up-cycled aluminum. Comes with a hang tag signed by the artist!

I now have this gorgeous purse with the gold strands... it is a perfect fit when I run into town. So many compliments! I also have a belt and a larger shoulder bag from Escama, love all 3 pieces. If you like attention they are your go to accessories!

Such a striking piece!

The bag never fails to receive many compliments! Inevitably, people ask "is that made from soda can pop tops?". It is! They are crocheted together beautifully and the lining prevents anything from falling out of the bag. I find it to be the perfect size for me to tote my daily essentials; it's both functional and stylish. So happy I made the purchase through a "Blacj Friday"

Love the Escama Cylinder Purse

I was given my first Escama Cylinder Purse as a gift many years ago. Whenever I am out, invariably the purse grabs everyone's attention. I love the Cylinder purse for it's shape, uniqueness and size. In fact, I have 5 different purses, two necklaces and one fishnet tank top! Now I am gifting items to my dearest friends as birthday gifts. I know that they, too, will enjoy the unique purses and accessories from the Escama collection.
