Update to Paris Review

After posting my Ooh La La review, I received an email from Escama apologizing for the issues with the bag. Escama offered to refund my money or send a new bag. I am eagerly awaiting my new bag. A pleasure to do business with this company.

Ooh La La — Took My Bag to Paris

I was excited to have received this bag (my first from Escama) the day before my husband and I left for Paris with our grandson. Bag is roomy and stylish. Even my 13-year-old grandson loved it. In Paris, we were standing in line waiting to get into the Louvre. My grandson noticed that my bag was attracting attention. I turned to see a young girl (about 15) pointing at the bag. I told her it was made from up-cycled pop-tops. She then showed me her collection of pop-tops that she was planning to turn into a bracelet. Of course, I gave her one of your cards. By then the bag attracted more attention, conversation, and card sharing. One woman said the bag was a “work of art.” Unfortunately, I cannot give the bag five stars because it started to come apart after less than a week of use. First the pull-tab came off the main zipper and then the stitching on the zipper started to come undone. Very disappointing.

Couldn’t be happier!

The attention to detail is what makes this bag so fantastic. Meticulously uniform crochet, beautifully lined with custom fabric and boasting the cutest zip pulley - together these elements make a truly beautiful item. The XL is a great size for an everyday bag, it comfortably holds all my essentials and more. Shipping and customer service were also brilliant. I couldn’t be happier and I’ll undoubtedly be back for another Escama.

People will stop you and ask about this bag. The guy at the liquor store, the little girl behind you in line, and your boyfriend’s mom will all admire this bag and ask where you got it. Make sure you have plenty of Escama cards in your purse to give out. I could sell 30 of these bags a day if I carried them around with me!
